Car Performance Data
Do you need to know the vehicle's top speed, its mileage economy, or whether it's too wide to fit in your garage? Our manufacturer-sourced data will tell you all this, and more.
What is this additional information?
HPI recognise that buying a used car can be a big decision, and doing some research on the performance and specifications of the vehicles you're interested in can offer huge benefits when it comes to making sure any potential purchase fits your needs. That is why we have improved our HPI Check to now include car performance data as we want to give you as much information as possible on your prospective new car. As well as telling you the history of the vehicle, we can now tell you how quick, green or economical it is, all included as part of your HPI Check. The information is displayed in 4 categories as detailed below:
- Vehicle Description The vehicle description provides a summary of the car's specification.
- Vehicle Economy Information on fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions will indicate the ongoing running costs of the car and its environmental impact.
- Vehicle Performance The technical information provided describes the engine layout, performance, power and specification.
- Vehicle Dimensions The length, width and height of the car.
This information is provided by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). The information is based on the vehicle as new, and without modifications.
